Helen Eaton MSc Grad Dip (Phys) MCSP
Helen spent her formative years working in the NHS where she gained diverse experience in: Out patients, Orthopaedics, neurology,cardio-repiratory, neurology, paediatrics and health care of the elderly. She was one of the first Physiotherapists in the UK to do a masters degree. Her thesis subject of rehabilitation for anterior cruciate injuries set up a long term interest in knee rehabilitation. This interest has led to her setting up a specialist knee clinic at the practice, where she receives referrals from all over the UK. She also has a had lot of experience treating children, which as a mum she finds a joy, and children form 25% of her case load.
Helen has had the opportunity to meet lots of professional riders through her own hobby of eventing. The inside understanding of the demands of the equestrian disciplines have helped her treat many international riders from dressage, showjumping and eventing including, recent international duty in Portugal.

Cliff Eaton MSc BSc (Hons) MCSP
Before qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist, Cliff worked as a Sports Massage Therapist. His interest in sport influenced his career path in Physiotherapy. His first post was part of the medical team at Leicestershire CCC. Here he enjoyed great success and was part of the Championship winning teams in 1996 and 1998.
His favourite sport being rugby, he was delighted to be offered a position with Northampton Saints RFC. He ended up working there, full time, for twelve years ending his tenure as manager of the medical services. From there he moved onto Sale Sharks as Lead Physiotherapist. This position provided him an opportunity of working closely with some of the country’s top Orthopaedic surgeons. It was also a time to continue his interest in Real time Ultrasound and education. Tanya Riddlesdell MSc BSc (Hons) MCSP
Tanya became interested in working with people with neurological conditions after a residency at two overseas spinal injury units – New Zealand & Belgium - whilst studying for her degree at the University of East London (UEL).
Following graduation in 1994, Tanya broadened and developed her physiotherapy skills through working at a number of teaching hospitals, specialising in neurology, in London and Cambridge.
In 2000 she worked in the community, as the emphasis grew for shorter hospital stays. She developed a team to provide rehabilitation / management programme's for individuals, looking to achieve their physical potential over months /years.
In 2008 she graduated from UCL with a Masters in Neurophysiotherapy, gaining valuable research experience, particularly in Cambridge, alongside individuals with MS. Advanced practice exams took place at King College Hospital London and The National Hospital for Neurosurgery and Neurology. Tanya has gained experience in different neurological physiotherapeutic techniques which she is able to tailor to an individual’s needs.
